“Leave the poor girl alone” – A Plus joins in the fight for the release of Akuapem Poloo

Controversial yet intelligent Ghanaian political activist and retired Highlife musician who is well known as A-Plus has joined the #freeAkuapemPoloo train which is currently trending on various social media networks.

This call for the immediate release of the Ghanaian/video vixen followed after news went rife on the internet yesterday that she has been convicted by the Accra Circuit court and waiting to sentenced after undergoing a pregnancy test.

All the crime that vulnerable Akuapem Poloo committed was to pose nakedly in front of her son during his 7th birthday’s photoshoot session.

According to A Plus, the system is shitty because we prosecute the powerless for the minor crimes that they commit and allow the real criminals to walk freely in the streets because of their power and influnece.

A Plus took to his official IG page to condemn the lawyers and judge who convicted Akuapem Poloo and also stressed that even Nana Addo has not been prosecuted for mismanaging COVID-19 funds.

He wrote;

But the person who stole and sold food meant for poor people during the lockdown is walking free. We spent 19 billion Ghana cedis on Covid-19 yet people were fed plain rice and pepper .

Akufo Addo managed Covid-19 well Akufo Addo managed Covid-19 well” who said if you give Akua Donkoh 19 billion she won’t be able to manage Covid-19 well?

Leave this poor girl alone. I disagree with the law Always arresting and jailing poor and vulnerable people for petty crimes and misdemeanours while the real criminals walk freely and continue to steal with impunity

Meanwhile, female celebs including Ama K Abeberese, Lydia Forson, Vanessa Gyan and a host of others have registered their displeasure over the court’s verdict.
