Ghanaian highlife legend, Iron Boy Amakye Dede who survived a road accident himself, has revealed what led to his own accident three years ago.
Speaking on the topic on Adom Fm Tuesday, Amakye Dede said the bad driving practices of some drivers is what has been leading to a lot of these accidents.
He gave the example of his own crash when the driver of the other car was making a call and lost concentration, ramming his car into his.
According to him, he lost consciousness in the crash but when he revived, one of the guys told him what happened.
“A guy who was in the car with me told me after I regained consciousness that the driver was speaking on phone and crashed into our car,” he said.
According to him, such drivers must be prosecuted because they are the leading cause of accidents on the roads.
Amakye Dede was involved in an accident on the day after New Year’s in 2016 whilst travelling to perform at Paradise Spot near Linda Dor.
