A statement from the ministry of information which was released yesterday, stated that, the president had gone into self-isolation as a precautionary measure, but will be “working from the Presidential Villa at the Jubilee House, Accra.”
Widespread speculations which is currently gaining massive attention in the media space are assertions which suggests that, Akuffo Addo has been flown out of the country to receive COVID-19 treatment in the U.S.
Clashing with these allegations, “The office of the president” has released a press statement which negates these rumours and additionally assures the citizens that, the president is healthy, safe and sound.
To justify that, the president is still in the country and presently observing his self-isolation precautionary measure;
Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, a leading member of the NPP and cousin to President Akufo-Addo, has melted hearts on social media with a rare claimed; today-taken family photo of the president, his wife and two daughters.
In the photo sighted by Gossips24.com, on the Twitter page of Gabby Otchere Darko, he wrote;
He’s well at home surrounded by love – even if over two meters apart! The President is well and at the Villa.
