On Sunday, March 15, 2020, the Government of Ghana as part of its initiative to combat coronavirus decided to ban all social gatherings including church services.
Many people, especially Christians, are unhappy about the closing of churches and have pleaded with the Government to allow churches to operate just as they have done to clubs and malls.
Reacting to this, broadcaster Nana Aba Anamoah who was mad at the ridiculous increase in prices of hand sanitizers stated that some of the people complaining about the ban on churches are the same people responsible for the increase in hand sanitizers.
She did not mince words as she bluntly called them evil and insensitive beings for being against an initiative put in place to combat the virus.
She, however, hinted that suppliers of hand sanitizers have come out strongly to insist that they haven’t changed the wholesale prices so the increment is on the side of retailers.
