Ghana’s Deputy Minister for Works and Housing, Eugene Boakye Antwi has announced the commencement of the sale of government’s Affordable Housings in March of this year.
A subset of the project which is located in Asokore Mampong in the Ashanti Region has been completed and ready for citizens to purchase and occupy.
These are the prices for the houses at Asokore Mampong:
- 1-Bedroom Standard – GHC 99,000
- 1 Bedroom Special – GHC 142,500
- 2-bedroom – GHC 182, 500
- 3-bedroom -GHC 335,000
To citizens who think this is actually expensive, there is a solution for you as these houses can be acquired with the use of a mortgage from the bank.
The affordable housing project is the government’s way of providing decent and affordable housing to its citizens.
