Food vendor sacks customer for presenting GHC200 note to pay for food of GHC1

As expected, the newly introduced higher denomination cedi notes have started creating chaos among the Ghanaian populace.

A food vendor for the first time saw the GHC200 cedi note as a customer who wanted to buy food presented it for payment.

The man bought something worth GHC1 and expected the woman to hand over a GHC199 change to him.

The woman who was visibly disturbed couldn’t fathom how she’ll be able to find the huge amount of change for the man.
