Ex-President John Mahama and his long-time enemy in Christ, Rev Owusu Bempah, a staunch NPP member, clashed at Church on Sunday.
The rivals, John Mahama and Owusu Bempah were invited to the Holy Ghost Revival Center of the Assemblies of God Church, South Odorkor, Accra.
The church was celebrating its 30th anniversary and deemed it appropriate to have the man of God and the political leader present under one roof, however, they literally couldn’t house each other.
Rev Owusu Bempah was done with his duties at the church premise and was about taking his leave, but not without greeting the former president.
As custom demands, Owusu Bempah left his seat on his way out to greet John Mahama who also stood up to welcome him and exchange pleasantries, however, those around John Mahama acted with some level of hostility and nearly created a scene if not for the church members.
All was settled after minutes of deliberation and things went on as planned.
