Africa’s dancehall king, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale has been crowned the artiste of the year at the 2019 Ghana Music Awards UK.
Shatta Wale has worked hard under the year of review and as such was crowned at the 4th edition of ‘Ghana Music Awards UK 2019’, in London last night.
The Discovery Centre was packed as the likes of Quamina Mp, Article Wan, Flow King Stone, SP Kofi Sarpong, and Samini thrilled patrons with amazing performances.
Well, on honours, Shatta in total took home 3 awards, making him the most awarded artiste of the night.
He won the Dancehall Artiste of the Year award and his ‘My Level’ song also won him most ‘popular song of the year’.
