Ghanaian songstress, Becca has admonished Ghanaian entertainers to read extensively on how to promote their crafts.
Becca granted an interview to Andy Dosty on Hitz Fm today in the quest to promote her new single, YES I DO.
According to the songstress, the main reason why Ghanaian artistes are lurking behind Nigerians when it comes to digital streams is because Ghanaians don’t like reading about how they work.
She stated in the interview monitored by Gossips that if only Ghanaian artistes read, they wouldn’t play shows for days and still be okay with their music.
Becca cited an empirical example using Mr Eazi, she said, “Even if Mr. Eazi does not play shows for a year, he would be okay with the money he makes off streams. Why? That guy is in your face.“
She also bowed to the fact that Ghanaians do not invest much online to gain the needed results as compared to Nigerians because they don’t see the essences.
“We as Ghanaians are not putting money into pushing our music. When Davido releases a song on Apple Music, it comes with a banner. No matter what it is, you may be compelled to click on it.”
