Ghanaian rapper, Pappy Kojo who responds to the alias, Fante Vandame, has reacted to claims that he disrespected Joey B which led to their break up as a perfect duo.
Pappy Kojo and Joey B excited Ghanaians in the year 2014 with their music prowess and fashion sense which took over the youthful breeze at the time.
Their friendship however hit the rocks when all of a sudden the two started doing solo projects with no tangible reasons given to their fans.
Well, in a recent update, the Fante Van Damme has shed light on the feud he has with long time friend, Joey B in an interview with MzGee.
He explained that although he has no idea of the issues that led to their fall out, it wasn’t strange as brothers fight all the time.
On what led to the fight, the ‘Balance’ hitmaker said: “I can never fight with someone who has been there for me. So it was definitely not from my side. So if anything, you’ll have to ask Joey B,”
Asked if he disobeyed the ‘Strawberry Ginger’ hitmaker, Pappy Kojo rubbished the claim and stressed that Joey can never be his boss.
He said: “No, I can’t obey Joey B. Joey B is not my boss. I’m actually older than him.”
“It was so confusing when me and him were going back and forth. I didn’t understand the whole thing because he’s my brother and I tattooed his name and everything so I couldn’t understand. And I still don’t understand certain things.”
