In Ghana, it appears the only crime which can’t be punished after it has been done is suicide but yet still we have it in our books as something which is punishable in our constitution. The reality is; attempted suicide is seen as a crime but a successful one is seen otherwise. Of course, you can’t charge a corpse.
According reports gathered so far, the man who seem to be in his early thirties is popularly known as Dr. Think Twice but I doubt he acted according to his name.
Eyewitnesses say he was helped by two accomplices in aiding him climb that 20-feet statue with a ladder.
The police and Fire Service came to his recuse and he was handcuffed and taken away. As to whether there are going to be charges pressed against him, we at Gossips24 will keep you updated.
