Decorated Ghanaian Rapper, Sarkodie has lashed out at Ghanaian bloggers for uploading the hard work of musicians for free.
In series of Tweets sighted on the rapper’s twitter timeline, he pleaded with bloggers to desist from uploading songs of artists online for free download.
The rapper suggested an alternative to bloggers, he stated that instead of publishing the songs directly, bloggers should rather publish links to paid platforms where similar works of the artists can be accessed so they (the artists) also earn something.
He added that bloggers won’t lose anything if they do so, but rather, they choose to upload them for free because they want traffic on their sites.
In one of the rapper’s early tweets, he asked bloggers to at least let artists eat from their work .
He seemed to be angry at the situation and we believe he has lost lots of cash from the sale of his Alpha EP which was uploaded on several news portals for free downloads.
