In a recent interview on Hitz FM, the controversial man of God, Nicholas Osei, also popularly known as Prophet Kumchacha, the founder and leader of the Heaven’s Gate Ministries, revealed how he got his popular name.
According to the man of God, who did not elaborate on how he got the name, he was named Kumacha when he first visited the United States.
“My real name is Osei Nicholas. The name ‘Kumchacha’ was given to me when I went for a program in the United States”, Kumchacha said.
However, in the same interview, Kumchacha revealed that he started smoking marijuana when he was 11 years old because he thought smoking marijuana would help him mentally but stopped after two and a half years of smoking.
“I started smoking marijuana when I was 11 years old. I thought smoking marijuana would help me mentally. I was smoking for two and a half years. I always got into a fight after smoking.” he revealed.
