Gospel Musician Celestine Donkor has recounted how she asked God to kill her when things became very tough for her as well as her parent.
The musician who is now been celebrated worldwide sharing her ordeal revealed that things became very tough for her after successfully completing the JHS with distinction.
According to Celestine Donkor, she was among the best student in her district after writing the BECE but unfortunately, her parents could not afford to pay for the fees which were requested by her first choice school Labone Senior High where she gained admission.
Due to the failure to raise the money on time she was enrolled into Insaaniya school where she was among the first batch of students for the private SHS.
She further went ahead to reveal that one day her school mummy called on her to go sing with her at her church which she agreed and went along with her to perform after which people showered her with lots of money.
Celestine Donkor further revealed that later after the performance a man came close to him and asked where her parents because she wanted to sponsor her education.
According to her , she later found out the man was boxing legend Azumah Nelson.
