Jacinta, a Ghanaian-Nigerian comedian has finally replied to the widespread speculation that has been lingering on the internet for a while now that she once dated fellow comedian, Kalybos for a short time.
There have been rumours that Kalybos and Jacinta dated for a short time, but neither comics made their relationship public.
According to Jacinta, Kalybos proposed to her and she agreed, only to be turned down later after the girlfriend of the “Boy Kasa” actor busted them
She further stressed that Kalybos was trying to play two girls at a go but her smart girlfriend was able to nab him for his dishonesty hence not making things work out well between them.
In an interview with Sammy Kay, she first denied the rumours: “We didn’t date. We nearly dated but it didn’t work.” “In order to clear some perceptions, because this question comes a lot, we didn’t date.”
She then acknowledged that Kalybos had informed her he was done with his ex-girlfriend, but she wasn’t having it.
While hanging out with Kalybos, Jacinta claims she and Kalybos were attacked by his ex-girlfriend. Surprisingly, Kalybos revealed to his ex that it was Jacinta who was pursuing him.

But when you see me and tell me you like me and that ‘oh, you were with somebody and you’ve broken up with the person and the person is not taking no for an answer and the person sees that you and I are somewhere and the person comes to attack us and then you tell the person that I’m rather chasing you.
