Information coming in has it that, the Black Stars striker and captain Asamoah Gyan has rescinded his decision to leave the national team permanently.
This new development is as a result of the meeting the head coach Kwesi Appiah had with the president earlier today.
According to our source, Asamoah Gyan has agreed to be the general captain of the team as Andre Dede Ayew takes up the captaincy position.
The Kayserispor player has also agreed to be part of the squad for the AFCON 2019 tournament.
Asamoah Gyan yesterday in a press release recused himself from the AFCON tournament and retired from the National Team following some captaincy issues.
