Illegal miners will be having it very tough in the incoming days because the Minister of Defence, Dominic Nitiwul has announced that the officers of the anti-galamsey task force deployed to stop the illegal mining otherwise known as Galamsey will continue to stay in the forest until all our destroyed water bodies become clean again.
As revealed by him, soldiers will continue to be on guard duty until the water bodies the galamsey operators have destroyed becomes clean once more
Meanwhile, the anti-galamsey task force burnt a total of 20 excavators while working in Atiwa in the Eastern Region on Sunday, May 16. Reports also have it that 8 amongst the burnt excavators belongs to NPP National women’s organizer
