President, Muhammadu Buhari has “angrily” ordered the security forces of the federal state to shoot at anyone they see carrying an AK-47 rifle and other deadly weapons.
The Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, gave the general public this information during an interview with BBC Hausa.
He also added that this is one of the methods the government has employed to get rid of Zamfara and other northern states of bandits.
He said;
The president has ordered security forces to go into the bushes and shoot whoever they see with sophisticated weapons like AK-47. He ordered that whoever is seen with terrible weapons at all should be shot immediately
