Ace Ghanaian investigative journalist, Manasseh Awuni Azure has firmly opined without a second thought that NBCO is useless because the beneficiaries of the scheme are underpaid.
According to the NPP government critic, youths of the country deserves better than the peanuts and hard bread they receive as salaries from he controller and accountants general deparment.
As submitted by the former Joy FM employee, the government’s anti unemployment initiative (NABCO) which employs graduates from tertiary institutions in Ghana is ineffectual because they cant even buy a Hyundai Elantra car which costs only $5800.
A NABCO worker is paid GHS700 which is equivalent to $120 as a salary and per Manesseh’s calculation when this sum is stretched in four years it won’t be enough to buy a used Elantra Car.
