Veteran Ghanaian actor, Waakye, has asked Ghanaians to forgive him for taking sides with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) during a interview with TV3’s Mzgee.
As confessed by the celebrated comic actor, frustration moved him to campaign for President Akufo-Addo and the NPP when he had already decided never to indulge himself into politics.
According to Waakye, the infamous Dumsor situation during Mahama’s regime is what frustrated him since his job was affected so Ghanaians should find a place in their hearts t forgive him.
