President-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has broken his silence on NDC’s rejection of the 2020 election results.
Speaking at his final State of The Nation Address today, January 5, 2021, Akufo-Addo said it’s good for the country that the flagbearer of the NaNational Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama has chosen the legal path to challenge the 2020 election results declared by the chairperson of the Electoral Commission of Ghana, Jean Mensa.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) rejected the declaration of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo -Addo as the winner of the presidential polls by the Electoral Commission (EC).
At a press conference in Accra, the Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu, described the declaration by the EC as flawed and one that would not be accepted by the NDC.
