Both Nana Addo and John Mahama are fighting over who the true brainy behind the free SHS policy is.
Speeches delivered by these two politicians at mini rallies are indirect shots and name-calling from both parties as they both believe that one amongst them is trying to steal the other’s ideas and policies.
Supporters of both the NPP and NDC political parties are also dirtying themselves on he internet on who the real free SHS initiator is.
Amidst this brouhaha, a certified receipt has found a way to land on the digital space which proves that indeed, John Mahama, can be pinned as the “Founding Father” of the free SHS policy.
A tweet from Akuffo dated 9/12/2014 reads;
“If President Mahama is, indeed, introducing free SHS in the 2015-2016 academic year, I would say alleluia“
Can it now be established that, Akufo Addo came to meet the free SHS policy after assuming power in 2016 and is trying to maneuver the policy under the umbrella of the NPP?
