Legendary Reggae/Dancehall act Samini has revealed his intentions of joining the Ghanaian movie industry.
The musician in a recent interview with Becky on the EWITHBECKS on Joy Prime,indicated that, he has plans of helping the ‘collapsed’ industry to get back on its feet.
Explaining further, he noted that, acting is a very tedious work so he won’t be going on set to act but rather, he will be writing and directing movies.
“I don’t have an acting career; I just went to have fun on set with Majid Michel and Yvonne Nelson.
There have been calls from industry players for help to build and shape the ‘ailing’ movie industry.
The award-winning artiste hopes his plans might serve as part of the solutions for the Ghana movie industry.
