Ghanaian Actress Yvonne Nelson has given up on Ghana expressing doubts on whether things will ever get better under the watch of politicians who give lofty promises when they are in opposition, but do the reverse when they are in power.
The actress who led a crusade of celebrities against power outages in Ghana some years ago under the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama led administration made this known in a post on Twitter.
She however did not back her tweet with an evidence of what she meant but clearly, with the incessant power outages in this county recently.
She tweeted “…..herrh but this country eeeh, i wonder if things will ever change!!!!”.

Ghana has in the past week been faced with challenges with intermittent power cuts.
Citizens of the country think ‘Dumsor” is back but government insist that they are just technical glitches which could be resolved.
It would be recalled that Yvonne Nelson embarked on the ‘DumsorMustStop Vigil’ to pressure the then government to end the power crises at the time.
The vigil that sought to draw the attention of President John Dramani Mahama to solve the energy crisis the country was facing which was held on May 16, 2015.
