A Mobile Police Inspector has landed in trouble after refusing to keep his pants zipped but rather allowing himself to be led by his sexual desires.
The MOPOL officer only named as John, has been arrested for raping a 13 year old student of the Tombo Community Secondary School in Benue State.
Narrating the incident which happened on Thursday, November 12, Hon. Wuam Hilega, a community leader in Ayilamo said that the girl was in the company of four other girls who were sent to fetch water from a well close to the MOPOL quarters.
On their way, the said John who was sweeping at the time called the victim who was clearly afraid to go. But, after the inspector threatened her, she went.
The MOPOL inspector instantly dragged her into a room and raped her. The girls ran back to go and report to their school authorities.

“The girl, Philomena Torhile, was afraid but the police inspector threatened to deal with her if she didn’t respond, so the other girls advised her to go.
“But when Philomena Torhile approached the police inspector, he immediately dragged her into the room, pulled her cloths and raped her.”
When the team from the school got there, they broke the door and caught John in the act, naked. The girl was also bleeding.
He was led out and was almost lynched. He is currently in the custody of the police.
