President Akufo-Addo has declared seven days of national mourning following the death of former President Jerry John Rawlings.
He has also directed that all national flags should fly at half-mast for the next seven days in all parts of the country.
The NDC founder passed on, today, November 12, 2020, after a brief illness.
The former President had been on admission at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital for about a week for an undisclosed ailment. He was 73.
