Political parties have been encouraged by a peace ambassador, Rev Samuel Adjei-Debrah, to preach peace using their various platforms as we near the elections.
The Reverend launched a peace campaign towards the December 7 elections with a press conference in Koforidua.
He called on all Ghanaians to also ensure that the peace being enjoyed in Ghana will be maintained as Ghana is the only place we all have.
According to Rev. Sam, he has witnessed many wars in Liberia, Cote D’Ivoire and Sierra Leone and it is not a pleasant situation.
He further urged chiefs and all traditional authorities to drive the message of peace to political leaders when they come to them.
Rev Sam also called on financial institutions and stakeholders to support him and added that he would be training and sending out some youths to preach peace for before, during and after the elections.
