This Monday’s evening, Sarkodie and Kuami Eugene smashed the hearts of NDC fanatics as they both joined forces to endorse Nana Addo’s candidature ahead of 7th December’s polls with a hot banger dubbed “Happy Day”.

After the song took over the airwaves with it’s Nana Addo’s endorsement, the two artistes came under severe pressure for allegedly receiving 500,000 cedis from NPP to produce a campaign song for the party.

Kumai Eugene who couldn’t stand the heat and brutal condemnation on the local digital space professed during an interview on 3FM that, he didn’t know that a line in the song was purposely weaved in to drive votes for Akuffo Addo.

Sarkodie on the other hand also retweeted Nana Addo’s applauds-tweet concerning the song with a censured message to the president not to be delusional that he has validated his candidature.

The two have strongly disassociated themselves from assertions which alleged that they are campaigning for Nana Addo.

A new post and comment proves otherwise. Kuami Eugene shared a snippet of the video on his Ig page with the caption “KUAMI EUGENE & SARKODIE KILLER COMBINATION”.

Sarkodie commented under the post with these words “WE MADE MAGIC”.

Now,  these comments from the two acts in the midst of the brouhaha clearly reveals that they have achieved their aim.

Which is getting the attention of Ghanaians to talk about Nana Addo and the reason why electorates need to vote to for him, stressing his free SHS policy and the buried Dumosor burden.

A good propaganda and marketing strategy ahead of  7th December’s general elections.
