3 more cases of coronavirus recorded in Upper East Region

Reports reaching Gossips24.com indicates a total of three more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the Upper East Region, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the region to four.

The new cases were detected after contact tracing 44 people who came into contact with the first confirmed case in the region on April 3, 2020.

It is indicated that contact tracing has started to identify everyone the three people came into contact with as all three of them have been put in isolation.

Ghana has currently confirmed a total of 408 cases of the novel coronavirus in the country with 8 deaths from the condition so far.
