Two people were killed on the spot and some others got injured when a Sprinter Bus somersaulted multiple times in of St. John’s Grammar Senor Hgh school on the Achimota-Nsawam Highway on Sunday.
The accident occurred around 11:50 am yesterday when a sprinter bus swerved off the road after a tyre puncture.
In the wake of losing control, the transport hit the road light and collided with a solid boundary before it somersaulted a few times.
The bodies of the deceased have been taken to the police medical clinic for conservation whilst those who sustained injuries have been taken to the Achimota and 37 military hospital respectively.
Gossips24.com gathered that it took bystanders and residents of the community several minutes to get all the passengers out of the bus.
