“You Don’t Know Anything About Showbiz” – Akuapem Poloo tells Akuapem Chief
The Akuapem kingdom is trending this week all because of video vixen and slay queen, Rosemond Brown, aka Akuapem Poloo. The kumawood model and actress had replied the comments by Apesemakahene of Mampong Akuapem, Nana Yirenkyi I that she is a disgrace to the ‘Akuapems’.
It is alleged that Akuapem Poloo is not Ghanaian as her father hails from Togo and other half from Ghana.
Well, Nana Yirenkyi I who reacted to the semi-nude photo shared by Akuapem Poloo on Valentine’s Day, revealed that he has asked Poloo to stop using “Akuapem” because she’s tarnishing the image of the Akuapeman and has advised her to turn a new leaf if she wants to maintain her name.
In an interview on Neat FM’s “Showbiz Time” with Sammy Kay, Akuapem Poloo said
“this is not fair, celebrities like Juliet Ibrahim and others post half naked photos and it’s cool but when I do some they tell me I’m stupid, for me stupid is my national anthem”…. she stated.
“Initially Akuapem descendants were giving me accolades for making Akuapem people proud because of my name, may be the chief of Mampong Akuapem doesn’t understand my work, I’m a photo model and video vixen not a prostitute, l haven’t received any letter from the elders of Mampong Akuapem to stop using “Akuapem” Poloo”…she added.
Ask which part of Mampong Akuapem she emanates from, she said “I come from Mamfe”.
