New Date Set For Akuapem Poloo Appeal Case Hearing

Social media personality Rosemond Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo has had her appeal case at court been moved to a different date by the Criminal Court 1 Division of the High Court.

According to reports, the new date has been set to December 1, 2021 where the final judgement would be made by the judge of the court presiding over her case.

The case of Akuapem Poloo was said to have come about after publishing obscene material and violating her seven-year-old son’s dignity and integrity in a nude photo she posted on social media.

Akuapem Poloo was sentenced to 90 days in prison after the video went viral but was fortunate to have her appeal for bail been granted and finally been released before her date.

Her bail conditions required her to report to the case investigator every two weeks and to leave her passport with the court’s registrar.
