I Laughed When I First Heard A Voice Tell Me I Would Become President – Kanye West Reveals

Multiple award-winning rapper and CEO of Adidas Yeezy, Kanye West has said the first time he heard an inner voice that he would become the president of the United States of America, he had a good laugh about it.

He disclosed that his influential friends, including billionaire media personality, Oprah Winfrey, however, advised him against it.

Kanye West made this disclosure during an interview via Joe Rogan’s podcast on Saturday evening.

“It hit me in the shower and when I first started to think of it, I just started laughing at myself and joy came over my body,” Kanye West said.

“I had different friends, some people in the music industry, tech elites. They just really took it as a joke. They’re telling me all these millions of reasons why I couldn’t.”

“I remember running into Oprah one or two days after that (the award), she said, ‘You don’t want to be president’ (laughs),” Kanye added.
