Did Sarkodie Replace Strongman With Ebony on his Odo Song?

Just a week ago, reigning VGMA Artiste of the Decade, Sarkodie released his much-anticipated 6-track tape, Alpha. The tape has been performing very well digitally since its release.

One of the tracks off the tape is Odo which features the late talented Ghanaian songstress, Ebony Reigns. The song primarily speaks about commitment and loyalty to a sustainable relationship by love birds.

Over a year before the release of Alpha, Sarkodie performed Odo at a memorial concert that was held on the eve of the late songstress’ burial service in Accra.

Sometime ago, a video released online captured Sarkodie performing Odo,coupled with rapper Strongman Burner delivering some enthralling bars on the song. The performance was backed vocally by Akwaboah.

In an Instagram post by controversial US-based Ghanaian social commentator, Archipalago, in reference to the video above has asked why Strongman Burner did not make an appearance on the version of Odo on the tape.

Archipalago claims information reaching him indicates that the original version of the song featured Strongman but Sarkodie later decided to take Strongman off the song and replace him with Ebony.
