Despite Sark’s countless efforts to support upcoming musicians, a lot of Ghanaians and his critics keep on tagging him as an opportunist who uses these musicians to stay relevant. Well, we think this picture painted about the artist has given him a second thought when it comes to dishing out verses to underground musicians.
Exactly 8 hours to this report on October 27, 2020, the iconic African rapper, Sarkodie gave a savage reply to an underground artiste who took to twitter to beg him for a verse.
The artist who has been struggling to get a hit song tagged the rapper in a tweet saying, “@sarkodie brother man, will you dash me a free verse? I have a song”.
Surprisingly, for the first time -openly – Sark told the musician to pay if he wants the verse ASAP! or better still wait for a miracle to happen if he wants a free package.
“Wo tua aa wobenya no nt3m but s3 free de3 aa tw3n nyame anim ob3 hy3 ne ho animonyam,” Sark replied.
