The vice president of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has given victims of the Church collapse an amount of Ghc200,000.
The said amount of money was presented to the victims of the ”Church of prosperity” collapse at Akyem Batabi in the Eastern region.
In all, 30 persons who either died or survived in the building collapse will receive shares of the cash amount.
The vice president presented the cash amount when he visited the disaster site is yesterday in the Eastern region.
He met with the survivors and families of the deceased promising also that the government will foot the medical bills of the survivors.
He further wished the survivors speedy recovery.
