Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, has said that no fatality was recorded at the Lekki Toll Gate massacre that occurred last night, 20 October.
Speaking at a press briefing this morning on matters concerning the shooting of protestors by military officers at Lekki Toll Gate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu asserted that there was no death at the scene. However, there are videos to debunk his claim.
He said, “Whilst we pray for the swift recovery of those injured. We are comforted that we have not recorded any fatality as against the widespread circulation on social media.”
