Nigeria Records 133 New Cases of COVID-19

Nigeria Records 133 New Cases of COVID-19

In the wake of the on-going protests in Nigeria, one hundred and thirty-three new cases of the novel coronavirus were recorded in Nigeria on Sunday, October 18.

According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), Lagos recorded 90 new cases of the viral disease while Rivers recorded 13 new cases, FCT with 8 new cases, Kaduna with 8, Oyo with 6, Ondo with 3, Katsina with 2, Nasarawa with 2 and Plateau with 1 respectively.

As such, Nigeria’s has records of confirmed COVID-19 Cases stand at 61,440 while 56,611 patients have been discharged with 1,125 deaths been recorded.
