Angel FM’s morning show host, Captain Smart has boldly claimed that the late Santo, is the GOAT of Ghanaian actors.
Per his statement, since the actor kicked the bucket, many exceptional talents have come through the Kumawood industry contributing to the upsurge of the industry but the legacy of the Akyem Awisa native is forever etched on the minds and hearts of Ghanaians.
Telecasting a short video of Santo translating Twi to English, the TV host said, “May his soul rest in peace. His memories shall never be forgotten and his legacies will last forever. No Ghanaian actor can match be matched with him.”
Bob Santo was born John Evans Kwadwo Bosompem and hailed from Akyem Awisa, a town in the Birim South District of the Eastern Region. He heavily featured in movies speaking Akan, most notably Marijata. He combined with fellow actor Judas and forged a formidable duo.
