A section of netizens have concluded on the fact that Nigerian singer, Davido actually denied #EndSars protestors during his meeting with the IGP in Abuja which came off today.
The popular courageous musician who led the Protest in Abuja, Davido announced earlier that he will be meeting with the IGP for a meeting on how to #EndSars and also address other cases that has triggered the Nigerian youths.
In line with the above, earlier on Sunday, October 11, 2020, Davido joined the protestants in Abuja to demand the release of the 20 protestants who had been arrested by the police.
However, during the discussion section with the IGP as per a video that went viral, he was heard saying he went there to calm down the protestors because they were his fans and not to lead the protests as suggested by the IGP who questioned his stance on the trending issue.
The IGP kept on insisting that the 30 BG boss joined the protest and ordered for all the cameras to be put aside.
Davido, in the presence of his lawyer and others, was advised never to identify himself as a leader of the protest as it goes against the law which could see him arrested for committing an offense.
It is therefore understandable that David Adedeji Adeleke who went in to fight for protestors across Nigeria at a point in time had to flip the coin in order not to commit himself in the presence of the IGP who wanted to bully him.
At the end of the meeting, Davido was given the go-ahead by the IGP to set up an independent panel for the evaluation of Sars officers.
