American-based rapper, Cardi B got her twitter account temporally deactivated after tweeting about the ongoing #EndSars protest in Nigeria.
Yesterday, Nigerians in various states came together as celebrities frontlined a massive but peaceful protest to call on the government to bring an end to operation SARS since it has done them no good.
It was in this light that the newly divorced Cardi B was alerted by a tweep @Asiwatulerry to come to the aid of Nigerian youth so their voices maybe heard across the globe.
A curious Cardi replied his tweet asking for a summary on the ongoings as she was going to research and see how best she can help in addressing their concerns, and perhaps join the protest if there’s a need.
However, a few minutes after her tweet, Cardi B’s 15m twitter account got deactivated.
