Barcelona star and world soccer icon, Lionel Messi has melted hearts on the digital world by gifting a 10-year-old blind Arsenal fan a life-changing glasses which costs GH₵ 24, 277.
The Argentine international has also hinted of helping other visually impaired persons in the coming months.
The six-time Ballon d’Or winner is said to have come to the aid of a young blind Arsenal fan after sending the child a set of digital glasses produced by OrCam Technologies.
Messi has linked up with an international agency to launch a partnership deal with them to increase awareness of the challenges faced.
After Barcelona’s humiliating defeat against Bayern Munich, the soccer maestro was reported to have filed for a contract termination with the Spanish side.
