Sufferget Gang CEO, Kelvin Brown, aka Kelvynboy went mad after VGMA 2020 Best Group of the Year, DopeNation were crowned winners of the Afrobeat Song of the Year category.
Prior to the eve of this year’s VGMA, Kelvynboy has been one of the very few musicians in Ghana who have been preaching about the introduction of an Afrobeat genre in the various award schemes in Ghana.
However, things did not go as planned for the former Burniton Music signee who was so optimistic about winning the Afrobeat Song of the year award as DopeNation emerged winners of the category.
The said category included the likes of DopeNation, E.L, Kwesi Arthur, King Promise, Darkovibes, Wendy Shay, Guilty Beats, Kelvynboy, and Kidi.

In a video sighted by Gossips24.com, an angry Kelvynboy was seen walking out of the auditorium after DopeNation were announced winners and handed the award.
Looks like this year’s VGMA came to ruin Kelvynboy’s year for good! – From a torn trouser to a big disappointment!
