Highlife artiste, Peter Fameye known by his stage name, Fameye has opined that most-awarded African rapper, Sarkodie doesn’t deserve any award at the forthcoming Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).
Fameye explained that Sarkodie had won both local and international awards including the BET, hence doesn’t deserve to be awarded again.
“Sarkodie has won many awards and I don’t think there is a need for him to win more. He has to leave it for young artists like us to win. I admire him a lot and I think it’s about time he goes on leave in terms winning awards,” Fameye said on TV3.
In light of that, the ‘Nothing I Get’ singer said he wishes to win new discovery of the year and the ultimate award, Artiste of the year.
” I think I deserve discovery of the year and Artiste of the year Award because I have come far and I have worked hard within the short period of time in the music Industry,” Fameye added.
