Information gathered by Gossips24.com confirms that the headmaster of Bright Senior High School (SHS) at Kukurantumi in the Eastern Region has been arrested by police from the Eastern Regional command.
The arrest follows allegations of assault by some students of the school on WASSCE invigilators upon his command.
The students also attacked a Daily Graphic journalist who was at the school to report on the developments.
The angry students allegedly smashed the phones of the officials and injured one of them because they are unhappy with strict supervision during the exam.
They clashed with the officials over social distancing in the examination hall, insisting the invigilators were too strict on them.
