Reports reaching the desks of Gossips24.com confirms that 9 out of the 120 Ghanaian nurses who recently travelled to Barbados under the auspices of the Barbados nursing job initiative spearheaded by the Barbadian government have tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the acting Chief Medical officer of Barbados, Dr Kenneth George, all the 120 trained nurses who arrived in Barbados last Thursday via a chartered flight are currently under a 14-day quranatine.
As the report affirms, 9 out of the 12 new positive cases which has been recorded in the country are Ghanaians, primarily amongst the 120 nurses who visited the country last Thursday.
