NDC Parliamentary aspirant for Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, John Dumelo has postulated that the NDC as a party does not believe in intellectuals.
According to the renowned actor turned politician, he loves the NDC because it’s a party that does not check the background or education level of its members.

Speaking on the face-to-face show with Umaru Sanda Amadu, John Dumelo asserted that the NDC does not check if a member is an intellectual before a job or task is assigned to that person, unlike the ruling party, NPP.
He explained that the party is a party for all and focuses on the grassroots hence intelligence is not a scale for competence in the NDC.
Though many disagree and feel John’s statement is alarming, the Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary candidate believes this is what makes the party special.
