Celebrated Ghanaian professional footballer, Asamoah Gyan; former captain of the Ghana senior national team (Black Stars Of Ghana) has disclosed that – residents in his constituency are vouching for him to represent them in parliament.
Following his recent charitable course in the “WEIJA GBAWE” constituency which was reported by Gossips24.com, the soccer maestro has alleged that inhabitants of the constituency have been personally approaching him; suggesting he contests in the upcoming elections as a memeber of parliament on the ticket of any political party of his choice.
In reply to these concurrent proposals of runing as parliamentary candidate in the Weija Gbawe constituency, Asamoah Gyan has cleary stated that; he has no political ambitions presently but will not rule out the possibility of such plans in the future.
Asamoah Gyan made it in the news earlier last week, after reports of him funding for a road construction in the Weija Gbawe constituency went viral.
