Former Adom TV presenter, Nana Yaa Brefo, has stated categorically that actress Nana Ama McBrown is not the reason why resigned from Multimedia Group.
In an interview with Kofi TV, Nana Yaa who now sells yam and pizza said she did nothing wrong and that she owes no apology to Nana Ama McBrown and netizens.
According to her, it was her personal decision to quit the media after working with the for 10 solid years and it has nothing to do with the celebrated Ghanaian actress.
She emphasized that she was misunderstood and was judged based on the short clips from the 3-hour interview.
“I won’t say that McBrown influenced my decision to quit; I would say t’s personal, people at Multimedia know this. This is not the right time to discuss this,” she told Kofi TV.
Nana Yaa Brefo was heavily lambasted by Ghanaians following her interview with McBrown actress on Bernard Nyarko’s death.
Netizens criticised her line of questions and called for her removal from the screen.
