Gospel musician Patience Nyarko has revealed why fellow singer Joe Mettle does not deserve the ‘big accolades’ gospel music lovers bestow on him.
According to Patience, most of Joe Mettle’s songs are old Pentecost and Methodist music and only get extra credits because he sings in English.
She went ahead to say what about some of them who write their own songs, what are attention are they getting.

She further noted that even though Joe Mettle has been touted as the most sought-after gospel act in Ghana, she believes he has not yet gotten to that level.
“Joe Mettle has not gotten to where he’s being placed by the public. The way people are lifting him up there, he’s not gotten there yet,” she told Christian Agyei Frimpong in an interview on Onua FM
“How many English songs does Joe Mettle have? Is it not Pentecost and Methodist songs that he sings? If these churches decide to stop people from singing their songs, what would be the fate of Joe Mettle?” she queried.
